Rob is Managing Director of TBT Engineering Limited (TBTE). He is still actively involved in the business with a focus on Community and Indigenous Relations and Partnerships, Business Development, Corporate Governance and providing guidance and support to TBTE’s Executive and Senior Management Teams.
Rob has extensive experience in civil engineering from planning through to contract administration. Rob has a strong background in total project management, construction and road design, surveying, environmental and materials engineering. He has significant expertise in multi-disciplinary design coordination, project management and contract administration of projects for public and private clients throughout Canada.
Rob has successfully managed engineering and related technical projects across Northern Ontario ranging in construction value from $10,000.00 to $100,000,000.00.
Rob is an ACI Certified Examiner, a certified RMCAO Concrete Plant Inspector, an experienced QA/QC Administrator, an experienced highway and construction engineer, and a past sessional lecturer at Lakehead University for 15 years.
Rob has actively advanced development of both business and partnership opportunities with Indigenous Communities throughout Northwestern Ontario. This has led to the formation of several formal partnerships (GP/LP’s) as well as numerous Joint Ventures (JV’s), Memorandums of Understanding (MOU’s), Memorandums of Agreement (MOA’s) as well as Participation Agreements in support of business and personnel development initiatives with First Nation communities, groups and businesses throughout the region. .
